Every garden is different but as a general rule of thumb here is our installation process:

1. Dig out existing area to approx 75-100mm
2. Lay approx 50-75mm of Crushed Stone (MOT Type 1) and run a compactor over it a few times until solid
3. Lay approx 15-25mm Granno Dust and screen out nice and flat, compact again
4. Lay an appropriate permeable weed membrane
5. Finally Install your artificial grass
